Parts Express Auto Inc – Terms, Privacy & Labour Warranty Insurance

1. Eligibility

Coverage applies ONLY to parts purchased from Parts Express Auto.

Applies only to the parts listed on the invoice.

Invoice-specific, non-transferable, non-assignable, non-shareable.

Proof of purchase and proof of warranty payment mandatory.

Failure to meet any condition = automatic denial of coverage.
2. Warranty Purchase – Time of Order Only

MUST be purchased at checkout. Cannot be added later.

Fee = 15% of total invoice, non-refundable.

Orders without warranty purchased at checkout = no coverage.
3. Maximum Coverage
-
Maximum reimbursement: $1,200 CAD per invoice
-
Applies strictly to labour; parts, fluids, diagnostics, taxes, supplies excluded.
4. Labour Approval
-
Maximum $100 CAD/hour.

Prior written approval required for all labour.

Labour outside approved scope = automatically excluded.
5. Claim Deadline
-
Must submit within 7 calendar days of discovering defect.

Late claims = permanent denial.
-
Delayed reporting or continued use = coverage voided.
6. Claim Submission Requirements

Original invoice

Proof of warranty purchase

Written pre-approval

Final licensed repair invoice

Itemized labour breakdown

Confirmation defect caused solely by covered part
Incomplete/altered submissions = automatic denial.
7. Exclusions
-
Misuse, abuse, racing, negligence, incorrect installation

Diagnostics, inspections, normal wear & tear

Fluids, shop supplies, taxes, downtime, storage, towing

Labour exceeding approved hours/rate

Repairs before approval
-
Claims outside 7-day window
8. Authority & Finality

Parts Express Auto has sole discretion to approve/deny claims

Decisions = final and non-appealable
-
One approved claim ≠ obligation for future claims
9. Liability
-
Limited to approved labour reimbursement ($1,200 cap)

Not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Does not replace manufacturer warranties
10. Privacy & Data Use

Data collected solely for order, warranty, and communication purposes
-
Shared only with licensed repair facilities or as required by law
-
Protected with commercially reasonable security measures
11. Governing Law
-
Ontario laws, federal laws of Canada
-
Disputes resolved in Ontario courts
12. Modifications
-
Parts Express Auto may modify/suspend/terminate policies at any time
-
Version at time of order applies
-
Unenforceable provisions ≠ void entire policy
